Life after death

What will be left behind when we leave this world? In the story "Kaleidoscope" by my favorite writer Ray Bradbury, an astronaut, left outside the ship and inevitably falling to Earth, is happy that he is returning to his home planet and, at least in ashes, will remain on it. This evening, the boy, seeing a falling spark in the blue sky, makes a wish. Will anyone make a wish while looking at our lives?
